ENVOY OIL which is the mother of ENVOY GROUP is an indigenous limited liability company, incorporated in Nigeria on 18th March 1998 with registration No. RC 332105.

Envoy Oil has refinery and fractionation plant with an installed capacity of sixty thousand (60,000) metric tons per annum (200 tons per day). The Oil section of the ENVOY GROUP is involved in the production of Vegetable Oils such as; Palm Stearine, RBD Palm Oil, Palm Olein, Soybean oil etc.

We source all our raw materials and machinery from the best in each field. The refinery was built, installed and commissioned by Engineers from Desmet Antwerp, Belgium, while the crushing mill was bought from Khun Heng Engineering Malaysia. The Solvent Extraction plant was bought from AndreotiImpiati, Italy. The Fractionation Plant was bought from and commissioned by Gianazza Technology s.p.a. Italy etc. All our plants are from the best companies in the world and that is why we produce the best quality of goods after certification by our well equipped quality control laboratory.

Palm Olein is the light yellow edible oil obtained from the fractionation of Refined Bleached and Deodorized Palm Oil, which is separated in two fractions by partial crystallization. The liquid fraction is called Palm Olein. It is used worldwide as cooking and frying oil. It is also used as an ingredient in many food products like noodles. Palm olein consists of about 55 percent unsaturated fat, which is mostly monounsaturated. Monounsaturated oil has one double bond in its fatty acid chain. Monounsaturated fats have been found to be better for heart health than saturated fats. The saturated fats in palm olein do not significantly affect cholesterol levels.

Palm stearin is the solid fraction of palm oil that is produced by partial crystallization at controlled temperature. It is more variable in composition than palm olein, the liquid fraction of palm oil, especially in terms of its solid fat content, and therefore has more variable physical characteristics. Like crude palm fruit oil, palm stearin contains carotenoids, but physically refined palm oils do not, as they are removed or destroyed in the refining process. Palm Stearin is used as an ingredient in many food products like biscuit and also used in soap making.

RBD Palm oil is derived from refined, bleached and deodorized (RBD) crude palm oil. It is use as cooking oil. It is also part of oils formulation for shortening, margarine, etc.

Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD) is made from refining crude palm oil. It is used for many industries such as soap industries, animal food industries and also is used as raw materials for bio-diesel and chemical industries. When extracted, Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD) produces Vitamin E which has large purposes in many fields, especially health.

Refined Palm Kernel Oil is obtained through refining of CPKO (Crude Palm Kernel Oil) which is extracted from Oil Palm nuts

Special palm oil (SPO) is a Premium grade palm oil with less than 5% free fatty acid (FFA) content, extracted from the mesocarp of palm fruits.

DOC or Palm Kernel Cake is another product used as livestock feed. It is obtained after crushing and extraction of oil from palm kernel nut.

Soybean oil is a widely used vegetable oil obtained from the crushing and extraction of oil from the soybean seed. Soybean oil does not contain much saturated fat. Like all other oils from vegetable origin, soybean oil contains no cholesterol. Saturated fat and cholesterol cause heart diseases and mainly found in products from animal origin. Soybean oil contains natural antioxidants which remain in the oil even after extraction. These antioxidants help to prevent the oxidative rancidity. Soybean oil is used by the food industry in a variety of food products including salad dressings, sandwich spreads, margarine, bread, mayonnaise, non-dairy coffee creamers and snack foods etc.
